Part R of our "A to Z" anthology series brings back Chris in Syracuse for an extensive talk about foods and barbecue.   We chat about Dave's method of smoking ribs on a gas grill with a smoker box full of wood chips, then segue to cooking methods for other foods: burgers, hot dogs, chicken, oysters, and many other foods out there.   Plus some talk about the takeout scene during the pandemic and other edible scenarios.

Podcast: A to Z - The Quarantine Episode - a RQ special with Junkie

Part Q of our "A to Z" anthology series brings us the highly anticipated "Quarantine Episode" featuring Kevin from the Cape a.k.a. Junkie to discuss the story of "Shower Beer" (29:44 mark) and what makes the experience so enjoyable.   Dave had serious skepticism over its merits, but Kevin shows Dave the light.  Earlier, we discuss the glory days of the "Random Quetions" shows during the DITCOW live broadcast era of the early 2010's, and a little tangent on Alex Rodriguez.  After the shower beer talk, Dave reveals a frightening moment during the pandemic when he was very sick himself - could it have been coronavirus?  Junkie also shares his suspicion that the virus was hitting the U.S. far earlier than the reported initial infections back in late February.

Part P of our "A to Z" anthology series brings Gerry back to the program for the second time within the series for a look behind the scenes of podcasting.   Dave offers advice to Gerry in terms of what to look for when doing a show, how to build relationships with guests and so on, and Gerry expresses his frustrations with doing a Yankees-centric show with the entire baseball season on hold.  Both guys share their experiences doing podcasts, some of the cool guests they've had on, and other tips for the asipring podcaster.

Podcast: A to Z - "On the Clock" - 2020 NFL Draft Preview with Ron in NJ

Part O of our "A to Z" anthology series takes us to the virtual NFL Draft this year.  Ron in NJ and Dave break down the nuances of a radically new online NFL Draft format.  We look at what could go wrong and what makes this online event so unique.  Then we do our usual annual draft coverage where Ron and Dave share their favorite position groups for the 2020 Draft Class, plus Ron's predictions for sleepers and Ron's mock first round draft.  We also discuss whether Chase Young or Joe Burrow is the best overall player in the draft class, plus look at who of the three big names at QB will pan out: Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, and Justin Herbert.

Part N of our "A to Z" anthology series brings back "Coach" Andrew Jacobsen from Denver to present Andrew and Dave's NFL Uniform all time rankings.  They each will provide their ten all-time favorite uniforms from NFL history, then their five all-time worst uniforms in NFL history, plus a rundown of some other franchises and the best uniform in their respective eras.   Drew and Dave also break down some of the nuances of various uniforms like the lettering style, stripes on the shoulders, small TV number placement, types of pants used, stripes on the pants, styles of helmets, and much more.

Part M of our "A to Z" anthology is a new update episode.  Dave shares some of the things he is doing to pass time during the coronavirus panedemic.   Dave reflects on the podcast series so far, comments on the stabling numbers of the pandemic itself in the U.S. and Italy, previews a bit of what's to come in the "A to Z" series and adds more unrelated thoughts.

Part L of our "A to Z" anthology is an abbreviated show with an update on Sports Leagues' plans for coming back from coronavirus.  MLB wants to start its season with all their teams in Arizona, the NBA is holding off any planning until May 1st, and the NHL sees the writing on the wall for their regular season.  Dave runs it all down in a short, solo hosted edition.

Podcast: A to Z - Karen and Andrew's American Dream

Part K of our "A to Z" anthology series brings us Dave's good friends Karen and Andrew, down in Denver, and catches us up on the two of them closing on their first home.  We chat about the excitement of a first house purchase, what they've enjoyed on Netflix and other streaming services, the work-at-home experience, including Karen's work producing a local but syndicated morning TV show.  Kevin on the Cape sends in two more Random Questions for K&A, and Dave adds some questions of his own.

Part J of our "A to Z" Anthology brings back John and Mike, our Golf Panel, to look at how Law School and work are going for them via the "work at home" route.   We share some quick thoughts on Coronavirus, then recap the short PGA Tour so far and look ahead to what possible events can be salvaged after the Coronavirus pandemic runs its course.  Later we recap highlights from Peter Kostis' interview on the "No Laying Up" podcast and segue to a conversation of how leagues and teams are sugar coating coverage of their respective properties.  Lastly, Dave tries his own random question for John and Mike, with a focus on the movies.

Podcast: A to Z - It's Da Bread

Part I (the letter "I", not 1) of our "A to Z" Anthology series brings us an old friend, "It's Da Bread," otherwise known as John in Brooklyn.  It has been quite a long time since we last had him on the show, so we catch up with Bread and see how his family is doing during Coronavirus.   Bread shares the scene he has at the family home upstate, the situation back in Brooklyn, his Law School in progress, and other details.  Bread and Dave lament the lack of Pro Sports in the USA, comment on how great the Lakers chances could have been or could be to win the title, plus we revisit some of the projections for when Pro Leagues start back up.  Speaking of old friends, we bring back an old podcast tradition in the middle of our show, and Kevin on the Cape sends two more Random Q's for Bread.
