We're back after a multi-week break for the latest edition of FOOTBALL PICKS on the podcast.  Ron, John, Andy, and Dave count down to the biggest game of the week, and potentially the biggest game of the year in LSU/Alabama.  How healthy will Tua Tagovailoa be for this crucial matchup to extend the Tide's playoff hopes?  Can LSU pull a rare win at Tuscaloosa with their improved offense?  Plus a look at other enormous games of the week: Penn St. vs Minnesota, and from the NFL, Chargers/Raiders, Rams/Steelers, Vikings/Cowboys, and Seahawks/49ers.  We continue our Football Picks contest with Ron on a serious roll, unbeaten in three consecutive weeks.  Robert in VA provides the guest picks as we prepare for a big Veterans Day weekend of action.

Podcast: 2019-20 NBA Season Preview with Chris in Georgia (10-21-19)

Chris and Georgia and Dave in the City present the DITCOW 2019-20 NBA Season Preview Show.  On this program, we look at the possible decline of the Warriors, two superstar teams in Los Angeles with Kawhi Leonard going to the Clippers and Anthony Davis going to the Lakers.  In the East, we look at even more super stars loading up in the Atlantic Division: Kemba Walker on the Celtics, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the Nets, and many more.  Plus, a new-look Rockets with the team trading Chris Paul for Russell Westbrook.   We'll preview all the big NBA teams, division by division, cover some new replay review rule changes, offer our win total predictions, then make playoff predictions for the East and the West as we count down to opening night in the Association.

Podcast: Football Picks Week 8 (10-18-19)

The Football Picks panel and Dave are at it again to break down the best from College and Pro Football while battling for top dog in our season long contest of picks against the point spread.  This week we recap a gutty effort by Florida at LSU, some shocking upsets for Georgia in College Football by South Carolina, then two nearly as surprising upsets of the Chiefs and Cowboys in NFL Sunday action.  Plus some quick hitters on the MLB Postseason and our football picks for Week 8.  A tandem of Dave's friends Stace from SoCal and Tom in NJ offer the guest picks for College and Pro games, respectively.

Podcast: 2019 MLB Postseason Preview with Gerry (09-30-19)

Gerry and Dave return for the 2019 MLB Postseason Preview Show with Ari in Philadelphia "On Assignment."  First we look at the improbable run the Washington Nationals made, without Bryce Harper, to make the Wild Card round, along with the equally improbable run the Brewers made, winning 7 in a row, and a bunch of games late in the season.   Later, we cover the Division Series which include some interesting theater between the Yankees and Twins, then another series between the Cardinals and Braves, and we then look ahead to future predictions and our picks to win the league pennants and the World Series.

Podcast: Football Picks Week 5 (09-25-19)

Ron, John, Andy, and Dave return after a week off to preview the big Eagles/Packers game on Thursday Night Football, plus a recap of a solid Notre Dame/Georgia showdown in prime time, and the insane UCLA 32 point comeback over Washington State in the final two quarters at Pullman.  Later, we recap the NFL's action, with surprisingly good performances from Daniel Jones of the Giants and Kyle Allen of the Panthers, both filling in for longtime veteran starters.  Then it's Week 5 of our Football Picks contest, taking our best best from NFL and NCAA action.

Podcast: Football Picks Week 3 (09-11-19)

John, Andy, and Dave return for Football Picks Week 3 while Ron sends in his picks via the text.  We recap an exciting Week 2 in College Football featuring a thrilling showdown between LSU and Texas, along with some other big games such as the improbable second half Colorado comeback against long-time rival Nebraska, and USC's dominant second half against Stanford at the Coliseum.   Later, the panel recaps the best moments of the NFL's first week.  The Saints and Texans go back and forth with scores, finished off by an impressive 38 second field goal drive by Drew Brees and the Saints.  Time permitting, the panel will cover the ongoing Antonio Brown saga, his release from Oakland, and subsequent signing with the Patriots.  Plus our Football Picks for both college and the pros in Week 3 of our contest.  

Podcast: Football Picks Week 2 (09-04-19)

John in CT returns for Football Picks Week 2 with Dave as Ron in NJ and Andy in Seattle send their picks via the text.   This week we recap an exciting Week 1 capped by a thriller between Auburn and Oregon at AT&T Stadium.  Later we look ahead to yet another thriller in the making: LSU vs Texas in Austin.  Plus we count down to the NFL Opener between the Packers and Bears in Chicago for the NFL's 100th Season.  The contest continues with our Week 2 picks including our first set of NFL picks for the year.  "Coach" Andrew Jacobsen provides the guest picks for the week.

Podcast: Football Picks Week 1, PGA Tour Recap Show (08-28-19)

The crew is back for the 2019 Kickoff of our "Football Picks" podcast on DITCOW!  Andy in Seattle, John in Connecticut, and Ron in N.J. break down the surprising amount of juice from two "Week 0" kickoff games: Florida/Miami and Arizona/Hawaii.  Then we roll out our first picks of the season for the Official Week 1 Kickoff slate during Labor Day Weekend.  Mike in North N.J. joins the guys and Dave with his guest picks.  We'll preview some of those Week 1 games as well: Duke/Alabama, Fresno St./USC, Houston/Oklahoma, and the other big matchups.

Later we will integrate a PGA Tour Recap segment following Football Picks as Mike, John, and Andy stay on to recap the best moments from the Pro Golf season, capped off by Rory McIlroy winning the Tour Championship last Sunday.

Podcast: MLB August Update with Gerry in Piscataway (08-27-19)

Gerry in Piscataway re-joins Dave for our latest MLB Update show.  On this edition we focus on the two teams at the top of the standings: the Yankees in the AL and the Dodgers in the NL.  Both teams went head to head in Los Angeles over the weekend, and the Yankees virtually dominated the whole way.   What went wrong for the Dodgers during the weekend showdown and is this a sign of the flaws to come in the postseason, or was it just a bad few days in an otherwise big season?   Later we look at nuances with both teams' fanbases and try to gain perspective for what both clubs have in the postseason.  Certainly both rosters are loaded with depth and Gerry will break down the Yankee injuries while Dave looks at ways the Dodgers can work around a terrible bullpen and put their excellent starting rotation to its advantage.   Plus other topics such as the terrible Players Weekend uniforms, players perhaps going too far showing up umpires, and a look at the wild card chases in both the AL and NL.

Podcast: 2019 College Football Preview with Ron and John (08-20-19)

Ron in NJ and John in CT are back for this year's College Football Preview Podcast!   This year we cover the latest College Football storylines, including the growing transfer portal and a look at familiar coaches going to new programs, most notably Les Miles in Kansas, Mack Brown at North Carolina, and Dana Holgerson at Houston.  Later, we check out some of the members of the transfer portal in big named quarterbacks who transfered to new schools.  Jalen Hurts, long the QB of Alabama, now goes to Oklahoma, and Kelly Bryant, former QB at Clemson, goes to Missouri, plus other notables in new spots.   Then, we make Heisman Predictions from a very competitive field: Clemson's Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne, Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa, Texas' Sam Ehlinger, and many others.

Lastly we break down each of the FBS conferences and make our division predictions, football playoff predictions, and predict the champion in 2019.  All part of DITCOW's annual College Preview.
