It's our special DITCOW Retrospective look at the top five DITCOW episodes of 2011. 2011 marked many more breakthroughs for the podcast, including the first-ever "Random Questions" hour with Kevin on the Cape, a large number of rivalries between our guest panelists, and some of the best known rants in our show's history. We feature Gerry in Piscataway's "Nick Swisher is WEAK" rant, Andy in Seattle's "Jorge Posada, do something!" rant, and Tom in NJ's "Just Fine Isn't Good Enough!" College Basketball tirade. Also on this episode, we revisit the DITCOW Karaoke special with some hysterical sing-alongs from our various guests including host Dave himself! All this and much more, as we not only count down the top five shows of that year, but also present an anthology of bonus clips from DITCOW's 2011 season of podcasts.

Gerry, Ari, and Dave are back for this year's MLB SEASON PREVIEW show. On this year's edition, we'll cover the long, arduous free agency process for both Bryce Harper and Manny Machado, with their eventual signings for 300 million dollars and up. Why these big signings still don't resolve a very bitter, slow offseason for many free agents, and how this could impact labor negotiations down the road. Later, we look at other storylines from baseball: proposed rule changes and greatly increased competition in the NL Central and NL East. The Mets trade for Robinson Cano and Edwin Diaz, the Nationals get Patrick Corbin for their rotation, the Phillies land Harper and pick up J.T. Realmuto via trade and Jean Segura in free agency. In the AL East, The Yankees acquire James Paxton, Adam Ottavino, Troy Tulowitzki, and D.J. LeMahieu for various support/backup roles. The defending champion Red Sox re sign several of their players, including Sale, Eovaldi, and Betts (in arbitration). Can the Sox repeat their outstanding run of 2018 or was it a one year wonder for them and their pitching staff?
Next, a comprehensive look at all of the division previews, not only the above division previews, but also a look at the NL West with the Dodgers losing some talent, but also losing a challenger due to the Diamondbacks' fire sale. Plus the other divisions such as the AL Central, weaker than ever, but still a challenge for the Indians after losing some depth.

Dave begins the program with a quick Oscars 2019 Award Recap, then Chris and Dave return for this week's "NBA Report", where we look at the crumbling Lakers following LeBron and co.'s horrendous loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. We look at the Lakers realistic chances to make the playoffs and how tense things are between LeBron and the rest of the Lakers. Later a look at some more positive stories such as Paul George's monster month and tangible MVP hopes for the OKC forward. Plus, we tackle the uselessness of James Harden's 30 point game streak that ended this week during a Rockets win against Atlanta. All this, a look ahead to Chris and Dave's in person meetup in Scottsdale, AZ and much more on this week's report.

A Couple Quickies and Andy in Seattle are back for the 2019 Oscars Preview Show, this time with Tom in NJ joining the crew for our Oscar predictions. We give our own opinions on each of the best picture nominees, if possible, then run down each of the other main categories such as Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Director. The field seems wide open with no standout film, but some decent contenders such as "Roma," "Green Book," "A Star is Born," and "The Favourite." We'll also cover some news and notes from the tumultuous lead up to this year's Awards Show and the Kevin Hart host controversy the Academy faced recently.

On this special edition of "Random Questions" with Kevin on the Cape, we unearth many archived Random Questions that were not asked on air during a Summer 2011 episode that night. Back on that night, we had a caller come on the show and take over the evening, leaving Junkie and Dave with a bundle of unanswered questions. This time, Dave recovers the questions and presents them eight years later on our "Random Questions Supreme Show." We may get to additional RQ's if time permits. Plus, Dave and Junkie catch up on their latest adventures.

During our countdown we revisit the show milestones: the first live show, the first holiday episode, and several podcast guest debuts. Oomer in Rockland makes his first appearance on the first live show. We also have highlights of Ron in NJ and others in the very entertaining NHL Preview show that year. Plus, Dave and his long-time friend Andrew "Coach" Jacobsen debate the skill players between the Colts and Saints before Super Bowl XIV back in February 2010. John in CT and Andy in Seattle from the Football Picks Panel, are back to preview this year's Super Bowl Matchup between the Patriots and the Rams from Atlanta. The game features two teams who have shown the ability to score oodles of points and two teams that like to run the ball. Will the Brady/Belichick combo do it again or will the new guys Goff/Gurley/McVay win the title. It's a rematch of the two franchises who last played for the Super Bowl back in 2002 (2001 Season). The guys will share their predictions plus recap a very exciting Conference Championship round two weeks ago.
