John and Mike are back to break down this year's PGA Championship tournament. It was a wild final round on Sunday where Brooks Koepka fought off great performances from Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, and Justin Thomas. We look at where Koepka's second major of the year puts him historically, and look at just how close Tiger got to winning another major championship. Later a look at the rest of the field, with some good performances from Rickie Fowler, Kevin Kisner, Gary Woodland, and a late rally from Jordan Spieth. Finally a look at the broadcasts from TNT and CBS, then some chatter about the forthcoming FedEx playoff, the Ryder Cup selection, and our brief overview of the new Pro Golf schedule next year.

"A Couple Quickies" joins Dave for a new "Random Questions" podcast. This time around, we look at what could be the most interesting movie of the year, "Sorry to Bother You." We break down what made the movie so fresh and unique. Then we cover the fall of MoviePass as Quicks rants about what led to MoviePass reducing the choices of movies avaialable following a rapid loss of money for the company. Later, some other odds and ends, perhaps even some Yankee thoughts and additional movie recaps on this film themed RQ show.

John in CT and Mike in North NJ are back to cover the 2018 Open Championship, a near miss for Tiger Woods that went awry on his back nine, and featuring other great rallies by Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and the eventual winner Francesco Molinari. Is Tiger's momentary lead on the final round a sign of a future major championship, or a momentary "right place/right time" scenario? Why is Spieth so bad with the putter? How did the Carnoustie Championship course treat the field 19 years after Jean Van de Velde's big collapse? Chris and Dave are back for Part 2 of our NBA Offseason Podcast series. This time, we look at the best moments from the NBA's Summer League, including some great performances from Wendell Carter Jr., Kevin Knox, Marvin Bagley II, and surprisingly the Summer League MVP Josh Hart from the Lakers. Later, we dig into additional offseason news, including Kawhi Leonard's surprising trade to the Raptors for DeMar DeRozan and other pieces. The NBA had numerous cap-based trades, The Wizards get Dwight Howard, Brook Lopez signs a new $3.4 million dollar deal with the Bucks, and a we observe bone-head contract by the Bulls for Zach LaVine. Jabari Parker, in a better move, signs with said bulls for two years. All this and much more in our second offseason show.

Gerry and Ari are back for this year's All Star Recap. Bryce Harper wins a thrilling Home Run Derby in DC, and the two leagues go head to head in the All Star Game the day after at Nationals Park. We then cover the mid-season storylines: Manny Machado gets traded to the Dodgers for five prospects including #4 prospect Yusniel Diaz. There's turmoil in the Cardinals' clubhouse, we look at the red hot Red Sox, a wide open NL Central, and much more. Plus, Fidz (Ari) airs his grievances on the Mets, and Gerry runs down why the Yankees don't need the big bat, but a big starting pitcher at the deadline instead.

Chris and Dave return for the first of our NBA Offseason Podcasts. The Lakers indeed sign the NBA's best player, LeBron James, to a four year contract. The landscape of the NBA is bound to change, and Los Angeles is already buzzing about it's enormous signing. What is next for the Lakers to build the next potential title contender. Paul George surprisingly stays with the Thunder with a multi year deal, Kevin Durant is all but ready to sign a two year extension with the Warriors, and we look at other smaller but still significant signings and trades so far from the NBA summer.

Luka Doncic is the talk of the NBA Draft with spectacular plays and hints of greatness shown overseas. Tom showcases some of the other favorites among this year's draft class, and the group looks at possible value near the end of the first round. What trades will conspire before draft time? John and Mike return to break down this year's U.S. Open from Shinnecock Hills. Brooks Koepka wins his second of back to back U.S. Open championships on a very rugged, tough fought weekend. The course humiliated many of golf's biggests names and even inspried an embarrassing moment for Phil Mickelson when he putted a moving ball. Was the course set up fair enough for the field or are the players right to complain about what they deemed as a poor layout? We look at the surprises and disappointments from this weekend, including a woeful time for Tiger Woods who four putted twice, and both Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth who were wiped out in the first round.
